Use of price comparison engines up

The Trust Index from Avail Intelligence shows that 63% of British online shoppers have increased their use of price comparison websites such as Kelkoo and Pricerunner.

Failing to show consumers what they want on the first page they arrive at means that 45% of users will leave immediately. Yet 22% said it was very likely that they would make additional purchases if the retailer showed them a good deal in response to their initial request.
